Not going to defend myself and have been clear and fair in my explanation we will still have transfer window threads to look forward to instead of a thread that has at times gone out of control.

I'm not sure if you're aware of the different colour for his username, maybe you're colourblind or just a bit slow on the uptake but DS is the big daddy round here, he runs the place, @oneboro just owns it.

If he says it's too early for a January transfer window thread, then it's too early for a January transfer window thread.

Guess it depends on the extent of the injury. The concern with Sol is that he dislocated his shoulder, and once you do that it becomes far more likely to happen again.

It's orange but i'll swap.

As its possible to link posts by quoting, don't see any problem with closing thread if it makes admins life simpler. not worth getting upset about . sometimes things are expressed a little brusquely but lets just move on and keep the good vibes while they are about

I'm really not that bothered anymore but i still don't get the reasoning for it. What exactly is out of control? Why does it matter if the thread has 3 pages or 3,000?

Why do threads have to be closed. Its a chat forum. If people want to access a thread and contribute to it, whether its this transfer window or one from 3 years ago, they should be able to. Its up to you whether you read it of follow it. 

It's all getting a bit silly
