"Next seasons our season"

I've seen people say "consolidate in Jan -> war chest in the summer if we don't go up" pretty much every season since getting relegated

Then get annoyed when we don't seem to have a war chest in the summer

What do we think for those 3 if we dont go up

Malanda 15m

Hackney 20m

47m into the club, maybe 35 made available to strengthen? The 12m missing is that extra 1m Gibbo puts in apparently over a year so makes sense for us to cover that so Gibbo isnt.

Hackney, Malanda and Morris will all leave if we don’t go up I would imagine and fetch a good amount I’m sure

Then you’ve got the freed up wages of big earners like Dieng, Lenihan, Burgzorg I’d imagine

So player sales and more wage wiggle room should see us begin a hellberg squad rebuild

praying we go up though as the summer of missing out on going up and resigned to losing great players will be rotten

I can't stand all this negativity. The next thing you'll be saying is the play-offs are lottery.

You can’t just take that portion though as we’re talking about Ipswich and the circumstances aren’t the same.. Leicester are in FFP trouble, Ipswich had a bid accepted for our best player for £25m. They also sold Delap, Hutchinson and Broadhead for like £70m, and then have parachute payments on top of that. So we can’t compete with them financially that’s just common sense

I’d heard a faint rumour bausor had flown to go meet a cf, but know nothing more so could just be guessing

If you are a striker you would love to play under Hellberg, hopefully we can attract some strikers here, that’s the last missing piece

do we need 4 strikers though? Sounds a bit overkill to me.
