even woodgate was a scout for liverpool, so your right about all levels of people doing it, even people lower down than taxi drivers can get a shot

Could Datro Fofana be that guy? 6ft-ish. Still only 23. Pacey, powerful, technical. 1 in 2 goals per game this season. Can play across the front line and can use both feet.

I think £10m is a lot and it's apparently put Leicester off but the only other clubs sniffing round are Celtic and Derby I think, maybe we could play chicken with Chelsea until later in the window and try to sign him for less as they definitely want rid

I’m torn on Fofana, on paper he’s talented and did alright on loan at Burnley in the prem and was having a good season at some *** Turkish team before Chelsea recalled him.

Fee and wages would be an issue but mainly there were questions over his attitude, I’d rather sign nobody than bring in a disruptive influence to our squad. Not saying that he is that as it’s all just rumours but he did issue an ‘apology’ to Chelsea fans this season.

I hadn't seen that but yeah that does make me question it more, especially for the price they are asking. Although maybe the apology is him acknowledging he needs to grow up

We won 4-0 today and the only messages he had on this board between before the start of the game and the one you quoted were taunting me for my opinion on Conway. Hes not a fan. Hes a troll. Probably the one poster on here I can't stomach at all, pure bile.

I'm sure someone connected with club sifts through this thread, although there's plenty of rubbish there's a stratum of good information. Call it what you like, but it's scouting for information on this forum.

I worked with a lad that did scouting via watching games on his laptop. There is a platform for it.

He eventually got a job at Boro and rise through the ranks.

He left a few years ago and is now working at Bradford.

A top lad but yes if you have the time and inclination then anyone can do it.

There are qualifications you can do in scouting for anyone who is serious. Doesn’t give ability but opens doors.
