They are really throwing money at it. More than I expected. I think they reckon if they can get to the playoff final they'll either get promoted or recoup their money. The documentary is a real cash cow for them.

Can't say I would want to play them in the final. That said, they're actually giving me Coventry PTSD. We could play them last game of the season then end up 3rd Vs 6th and play them straight again in the semis. We all know how that story goes.

Humphrey Kerr said in an interview at the start of the season that if they were in the playoff fight come January they would be allowed to "go for it"

If it backfires they could be in trouble, though.

Depends when he actually left Italy I suppose. Obviously everything up until the medical could have been done with him still there, or at least having to go back and forth.
Also, I suppose once we weren't going to get it done in time for Saturday's match, there's no need to rush it through.
