He made it clear he wanted to move on early, and confirms that part of the reason he wanted to leave was because he wasn't universally popular, sounds like Scott thought he was being overly sensitive over it even though he was surprised by some of the criticism for Azaz.

So sorry for doubting Humpty on that being a factor. 

After tonight I don't think he's universally popular in Ireland either and if he keeps it up he won't be popular for long on the South Coast.

do you vpn as england location tho? if you vpn as another excluded country then you will still be blocked.

We will. Strelec has shown once we’ve identified a target and followed their progress for months/years we don’t give up on them until there’s no chance of us getting him.

Maybe Azaz was so gash for the Republic because a section of the fanbase have booed him and he doesn't feel at home there?

Do we get anything for the first cap? I can imaging Levy thinking about “one-cap wonders” and making it conditional on 2 or even a few caps.

Incidentally, I hadn’t realised, but according to BBC, Spence is the first Muslim to win a full England cap, so pretty ground breaking.
