To be fair, they hadn't had a penalty in three days so were due one.

Lads, I really want everything to go your way at the weekend. Odds are, it probably won't, but trust me, if you are going to go up, as I hope you will, the play offs are the way to do it. In my 60's a

  • Fundamentally, it's in our hands. If we can keep up to 2 points per game until the end of the season, we end up on 90 points. If that doesn't get us into the top 2 then all we can do is hold up our ha

Was looking at Bristol city doing this well. Christ they’ve played some dross to start the season. Sheffield United,Charlton, derby, hull, sheff wed, then Oxford tomorrow

Birmingham should be 1-0 up. Gray through on goal and hit it straight at the keeper.

Was just about to post the same, they have played all the bottom feeders and those predicted to struggle and tomorrow they face Oxford. As the season progresses it will be interesting to see how they do when they face the better sides.

Ends 0-0, good result for us, Coventry are still unbeaten but we've gained 2 points on two direct rivals.

Stoke dropping points too, as are Swansea and Birmingham.

All 3 results have went our way.

I know birmingham are tipped for play offs, but I really can’t see it myself. Been awful everytime I’ve seen them

They were pretty average today. I expected them to be better, though i think they have had some tough fixtures.

They've had a crazy turn over in players, but bought really well. When/if they all gel as they could, they'll be up there. The fact theyre still doing pretty well while trying to find their feet is far from ideal.

I'm not concerned about Bristol City given their ridiculously easy start to the season. What really matters is that we now have a cushion over all the serious promotion contenders, and greater momentum than any of them. Early days, I know, but that's a superb position to be in at this stage of the season.

Hopefully at least one of the big hitters drops points at 3pm, then it's been a super weekend.

Still great whatever happens now though.
