Southampton v Boro 1-1 (Sene)

Recommended Posts

Would like to see strelec and conway the other way around with strelec as the 10. To be fair Sene is probably pushing to start now. Excellent point in the end I think away from home. Southampton will almost certainly turn it around at some point

If I understand correctly I think we are in agreement.

Well you are excused, I am not that easy to understand in written english all the time... 😀

And most things I say is tongue in cheek (or what the saying is)

4 hours??? Next time I’d just chuck in the old turkey dinosaurs and be done with it!

I'm afraid there's very little sign of Whittaker coming good. He is so incredibly lightweight.

Not convinced by him at all. Becoming a passenger........

I am used to it, I'm just capable of talking about a game without only ever mentioning one stat after every single match, win, lose or draw.

Luton's squad was full of Championship plodders, with a handful that we'd have taken in our team.

Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich have squads full of players that would walk in to most sides in the division.

It's not xG that's making me think that Southampton will finish higher up the table.

Well we will just have to disagree on the clicking thing

My feeling so far is that they feel very much like us last season....

Might change if Still leaves

Don't understand anyone bemoaning the result or performance today. A very good point away from home. The subs changed the game. Maybe different having watched the game there but it was a tough game against a decent side away from home.

On the subs, what a difference they made.

My prediction for Tuesday is Browne, Nypan, Sene and Hansen all come in. The pace and skill of the latter 3 is phenomenal.

Result and performance are separate issues. Result? Brilliant. Performance not so.

However a decent point against decent opposition.

Wouldn't be surprised if at least most of them start aye, seems to be quite happy to rotate the attacking set up to keep everyone fresh.

I think it is because we where very sloppy today. If we had come up in normal standard we would have won because Southampton was not good....

But so do we and we barely laid a glove on them

I really don’t understand what point you’re trying to make. I’d rather play crap and still pick up a point than play well and not get what we deserve.

Exactly and we were sloppy at times against wba, we were sloppy against Norwich, we were sloppy against Preston and very sloppy today. That’s my whole point I’m trying to make, how long can we keep up this form if we don’t fix that and when will we start to see it improving.

The point is that doing what you describe isn’t sustainable, how can you not see that?
