Chris Rea

Good afternoon Boro Fans, Charlton here again, once again many thanks for your support re the "Headphones Norm" tribute at our recent game, it was much appreciated.  There's been 2 more since in the 13th minute away at Brum, and then again in the 13th minute at our home game against Oxford too.

 I've just realised that Chris Rea came from Middlesboro, bit of a shock his passing yesterday, I suppose we tend to think artists like him just go on for ever.  I was a big fan (still am)  though never saw him perform.  Please pass on my commiserations if any of you know his family.

I was hoping there was going to be a tribute program on the box (one thing the BBC is very good at given their massive archive), have you heard an announcement at all.  Sometimes these things come out very quickly, long before the TV guides have a chance to list them.  I'm having a Chris Rea afternoon at home at the moment, I've got a proper home hi fi with decent big speakers so I can have it nice and loud if I want.
