Lets not re-write history. We were never 'sloppy passers' under Edwards nor did we really give the opposition too much of the ball in our own half. We were a defensively disciplined team that didn't create a lot of chances. We, by no means, were a bad side and our league position when he left was proof of that.

A couple of very nice stats - 0 points dropped from winning positions and 25 away points is the most in the top 4 tiers of English football!

This is a huge game, the biggest game. It's very bigly. You never saw a game like this before. When I saw the fixture list come out I thought, "Wow, that's a massive game. It reminds me of a Great Dan

Our passing in the attacking third of the pitch under endwards was terrible, plenty of his games ended with us 1 goal in front sat back and the other team doing all the football.

In no small measure thanks to your lad who was our MOM!

Law of averages says he would have a good game sooner or later. 🤣🤣🤣

We're giving it a right good go, but it looks as though Ipswich will pip us to 2nd place, unless they slip up.

It looks like it's ganna be very close mate.

If Ipswich manager finally lets the penny drop that he has a very good Championship matchwinner in Jack Clarke, then that could be the edge they need.

He will win them games if he is allowed the freedom to play.

He's too good for the Championship, but unfortunately not good enough for The Premier League.

If he gets on a roll, they will take some stopping marra.

Good, good solid player you've got there.

Every team needs one. 👍

I know you're just joking around but genuinely he's been absolutely amazing since minute 1. Does everything we ask of him and never dips below a 7/10 IMO, just absolutely rock steady.

Yeah, just joking mate.

He is a very, very good player. Deserves his chance with you because, like you say, he is rock solid and rarely puts a foot wrong.

I genuinely wish him the best with you, cos he deserves another crack with a good club mate.

He was unfortunate with us, with the timing of his move, and the direction thd club took with the new faces.

He would really have struggled for game time with us, and he deserves better than that. Too good to be warming a bench somewhere.

I remember Dan Niel got suspended, and he came in for a couple of games, and I genuinely thought he did enough to keep his place.

The manager thought otherwise.

I agree he finally needed to play for a good club
