I think there are actually players that need resting this time. We need to go as strong as possible to secure that position, but I wouldn't be risking anybody who's doubtful fitness wise. Winning a de

I'm wondering if it is better to finish 4th, a storming Southampton or the Hollywood favourites seem more daunting than say Hull. Of course they could all shuffle positions before then but it will be interesting what the outcome of our final day at Wrexham could mean in terms of who we "may" play if we fall into the PO's?

Fingers crossed we're not in them

now you have said that, I hope its not possible for us to come 7th 🤣

Mad scramble now for mathematical permutations ☹️

It's very possible, our repeated *** ups have made it so we're only 8 points above 7th with 7 games to go.

Only takes a couple more bad results for it to be a real danger.

Strange to think that had we beaten Coventry that night how thing might have been.

Now it feels like we couldn't beat an egg.

I don't think we will miss out, but this bad spell been a great example of why draws can be very damaging even if you're "unbeaten" in however many games.

Hotel booked, free cancellation up to May 20th....fingers crossed 🤞

Equally those draws have kept us where we are, even though we haven’t pulled away we’ve still stayed ahead of the others.

We were still 6 points clear of 3rd when Coventry beat us, 4 draws in 7 have cut that down to only 2 points, having played a game more.

We've not improved our position on 3rd at any point with these draws, it's worse than it was at the start of the run.

Oxford - Millwall won.

Leicester - Millwall and Ipswich won

Bristol City - Ipswich won.

Blackburn - Ipswich and Millwall drew.

So that's both teams gaining 4 points on us because of those draws.

I never said it was a dream scenario, but facts are they’ve still kept us in 2nd place. If this is/was our bad run of form and we start picking up more wins then I’d say it could have gone far worse.

The only good thing about the playoffs is it might see us end our Wembley hoodoo. Apart from that I would rather the top three went up.

What do you mean? The play offs take place in two months and there’s a good chance we’ll be in them. Even if we don’t end up in them, it’s a relevant thread because the winners will join us the Prem.
