richmfc 41
i think as loans they are a good idea but as buys ,even the likes of lansbury could be on 15-20k a week so out of our range, what about a loan for macheda from man utd
anonymous-user 3
I can't see Macheda being any cheaper. He gets a game for Utd.Not so the case with Lansbury.
Prowler 197
Why are you going on about paying wages for these fellers? :S If it's a youngster and you get them on loan, 9 times out of 10, you don't pay the wages, the parent team does as they see it as the youngster is getting valuable first team experience that will benefit both parties involved. The likes of Lansbury and Macheda, if we can loan them, will be wage free, Lansbury is a possibility, Macheda is actually likely due to Utd having Hernandez, Owen, Berba and Roons. Guest vinboro
Danny Rose from Spurs?
Prowler 197
Wouldn't mind, decent left winger. Woodgate is available for loan... :P
anonymous-user 3
Rose Yes! Woody No! You have to ask why Spurs whose 2 main defenders are injured are letting him out on loan.
Prowler 197
They have Kaboul, Glallas and Bassong as replacements, Linth :P
Maccarone 265
Whatever baggage Woodgate carries he is a class defender and make no mistake. Without doubt would be by some distance the best defender in the Championship. Injuries and life style by taken a heavy toll but the lad is class. W have no chance of getting him, lets move on to realistic targets!
Prowler 197
Rumour are that Woody and O'Hara plus cash are off to West Ham in exchange for Parker.
kninemark2 11
did woody make the spurs 25 man squad? i think we have enough cb's to be honest, when wheats leaves we can always bring grounds back into the fold. thats 4 cbs of different abilities only worry is they are all prone to an injury
richmfc 41
the CBs we have are nowhere near the quality of woody , but its a big risk having him as one of 3 CBs cos hes sure to only play a few games.
CurtisFleming 86
Even if we had woody for 2 games it would be better than nothing imo
Guest vinboro
Why upset the team for two games? Is he even fit to play?
anonymous-user 3
Agree Vin,what if he is rusty & makes mistakes & loses us points? Not worth the hassle.
CurtisFleming 86
Im presuming he is fit to play if he is available on loan. He will obviously not be his sharpest. You say upset the team, I say improve it. Would bringing in Messi for one game upset the team? It is also quite hard to upset a team that is getting beat most games.
