Prowler 197
Seems to get getting better but I'll never see him as a LM.
Batmalan 50
how much longer can he hoodwink mowbray? a little bit longer after scoring the winner yesterday
Downsouth 6,175
Don't think we will get many offers for him but he could be useful next season!
Guest vinboro
Still not convinced by him. If we are to push for promotion next season we will have to get rid of the dead wood, the players we are carrying: Emnes Taylor McDonald Boyd Arca
thepassenger 16
and Hoyte, and Flood
Guest vinboro
Possibly McMahon as well
Armster 29
is mido's contract up this year or do we still have to hang on to the useless git? think we could even get rid of digard? nobody seems to have any interest
thepassenger 16
Mido has gone for good from what I understand. I like McMahon, would like to see him stay
VectorBoro 75
Mido is defo gone but Digard is still contracted to us until June 2012 .
HolgateHero 600
good goal from Taylor - worth two points and his first from boro. He's a local lad with passion and pride. Is he really hoodwinking anyone?
Huntsboro 17
I wouldn't say so Holgate. Taylor hasn't been back with us that long. If he can put in a few more performances like that, I'm more than happy for him to stay.
Barticus 29
I don't see what Taylor gives us apart from cover when Bennett is on one of his forward forays. yes he has a good game against Watford but apart from the goal didn't really do much. too slow for a winger and plays lots of square balls, I wouldn't miss him if he goes
HolgateHero 600
From what you've described Barticus he sounds a bit like Arca... only younger. Suppose what wages he's on is a factor.
Guest stocktonman
Since I started this I ought to give an updated opinion.Agree with Barticus-he had a reasonable game against Watford-certainly an improvement on his last effort at home .He actually looked a bit more interested in this game than the Derby match which may be because of the opposition but the same problems remain.Slow, passes the buck too much and rarely plays as though he really wants it. I suspect a bloated wage packet as a result of our former Premier league status has led to a lack of fire in his belly and hunger to really make things happen.Wouldnt be missed. VectorBoro 75
I agree with you Stocktonman , i don't think Taylor is anything special these days and certainly not playing in midfield. His body language doesnt do him any favours, he looks like a teenager having a strop most of the time. Mogga keeps on talking about fast attacking football , if he plans us to play like that in the near future then Taylor has to be out of the squad.
