reserves v leeds

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I've seen Reach playing left-back for the youth team once against Everton and for the reserves against Hartlepool, i was impressed, good going forward. Weldon has had some very good games this season plaing centre-back for the reserves, especially against Sunderland, seemed very safe and reliable, think he is stronger defensivley than Reach but he's not tall enough or strong enough yet to play centre-back in the first team.

Seen Gibson playing at centre-back a few times, for the reserves and once for the youth team and he looks a class act. Played alongside Maxi Haas against Gateshead for the reserves, and he took control of the game from the back, taking on all the responsibility.

Weldon will be under the microscope now to see if he is good enough to play left-back in the first team if needed as cover for Bennett.

Weldons definatly left footed. Has played centre back more than left back recently, with reach usually playing left back.

Gibsons ball to Halliday late in the game 60 yards diagnal was superb!
