Sarumite 86
Division One Borocelona & Paphos each with a hand on Division 1 Title Cornish Hits 8 Past-y Ayresome NPower Championship Results Saturday, 7th May Barnsley 1 - 0 Millwall Bristol City 3 - 0 Hull Burnley 1 - 1 Cardiff Crystal Palace 0 - 3 Nott'm Forest Leicester 4 - 2 Ipswich Middlesbrough 3 - 0 Doncaster (Barry Robson) Norwich 2 - 2 Coventry Preston 3 - 1 Watford QPR 1 - 2 Leeds Reading 2 - 1 Derby S***horpe 1 - 1 Portsmouth Swansea 4 - 0 Sheffield Utd PL DIVISION 1 RESULTS Smogster 7 - 7 Aboysender AVERAGE 6 - 6 Dyrewolfe Andy 7 - 6 Treknut Borocelona 7 - 5 Foggans Paphos 7 - 6 Osvaldo Cornish 8 - 6 Ayresome Bernie 0* - 7 Gully Hammy 7 - 6 Oslo Borocelona and Paphos are a step closer to lifting this season's Division 1 title. Borocelona with a convincing win over Foggans, while Paphos kept up the pressure, edging a closely-fought contest with Osvaldo, to ensure a thrilling finish to the season. The other significant result this week, saw Aboysender move out of the relegation zone, largely thanks to a no-show from Bernie. His draw against Smogster gave him the point he needed to move out of the bottom 3. In the mid-table clashes, all the predictors seemed determined to finish the season on a high. Andy got the better of Treknut in another close, high-scoring encounter to move up to fifth spot. Once again Treknut can rightly feel a little hard done by as once more his result failed to match his performance. In the game of the week, Cornish netted an impressive eight goal haul against a battling Ayresome, to ensure his survival. Likewise Gully will have heaved a sigh of relief as his opponent literally failed to turn up. He also managed to beat the division average to secure a win and move up to 9th. Hammy and Oslo fought out another keenly contested tie, with the canny predictress grabbing a late winner, to move into the top 10. Dyrewolfe will be thanking his earlier results for keeping him clear of the drop zone, only managing to match the division average this week, earning a point in his penultimate league game of the season.
