oneboro 160
Aston Villa have made a move for Middlesbrough FC star Tuncay Sanli. The Turkish international is set for a move away from The Riverside, after relegation to the Championship. Liverpool were understood to be interested in the forward, however Aston Villa FC seem the likely club to sign Tuncay. Martin O'Neill is understood to be in the market for a play maker and the Turkish captain is understood to have impressed the Villa boss. Tuncay joined Boro from Fenerbahce and has gone on to make 67 appearances, scoring 15 goals. Discuss... I wouldn't really mind it if he joined a team like Villa or Everton, still be gutted to see him leave though. Get around £10 million for him hopefully!

diggerman 0
yeah it would be great to see him stay. can't blame him tho - i've always thought footballers were so fickle , jump ship as soon as things go pear-shaped when they should be staying and helpin to sort the mess THEY created. but in tuncay's case its different i guess - he DID try. Guest boro_mad
good points diggerman, Tuncay seemed to give it his all. Hopefully we can keep hold of him, with Boro stating that he will only move for a large ammount!
