trekkers 104
I hope we get to spend a lot of time in the future talking about Garry Monk as well. I'm really looking forward to it. I don't see why not, we can talk about just how little food he did. I heard he was really tight providing the after match buffet. Players always moaning about how little food there actually was!!!! Changing Times 12,347
I'm confused about where the Steve Agnew chat is though? I've heard he's doing alright for himself now, turning Aston Villa around and making them challengers for promotion? If only we had someone with his expertise at this club :(
tylergomez 53
I am in no way a Liverpool fan. But this game today has been so good to watch. And it is nice to see that Man City aren’t invincible. Apparently Klopp knows how to beat Guardiola.
tylergomez 53
Can I just point out that I wrote the above at 90 mins. So if Man City win in added time I retract my statement
wilsoncgp 9,283
One hell of a game. It shows just how much not losing means to a team too. City kept going to the end and they did it with full belief of what they could do. They must have felt it was meant to be to come back into the game.

I love seeing football being played like that. I know they don’t want to lose, but neither side were ‘solid’ or ‘defensive’ just try and score goals. How football should be played. If I was in charge of the world.
p_mards 1,365
Unbelievable in the Nantes v PSG game. The referee kicked out at a player, while the referee was on the floor after being accidentally tripped him over. He then sent the player off. Crazy.
p_mards 1,365
Sky say that Giggs is to be named the Wales manager. It will be interesting to see if he can substantiate his ego as a high quality manager.
Brian Mcculloch Glasgow 0
Coleman had become the most successful manager in Wales history in 2016 when he led the squad to the semi-final of the European Championships and the priority now for Giggs will be the Euro 2020 qualification campaign that begins later this year. Does little to dissuade me that modern referees have a tendency to be egomaniacs (not 90s referees, if either of my occasional colleagues happen to see this :P )

Brian Mcculloch Glasgow 0
Giggs has signed a four-year contract to succeed Chris Coleman, but is yet to decide on his backroom staff.
Cormick 11
Interesting question came up on Talk sport yesterday and would like to see what other people think, would you rather play like Man Utd did against Liverpool and park the bus and hold out for a draw or play like Man City did against Liverpool and lose? Liverpool v Man city was special, very special in the likes we don't witness often for obvious reasons. The level of skill and fitness is only seen in teams of expensive pedigree. Of course others may have a player or two but not a full team. The question is intriguing in that, if you need points to survive then I believe fans understand parking the bus is acceptable but for thrill and return on investment, we would all like to see commited, full on football.
