TeaCider24 12,631
The League Two play-off final will be between Exeter City and Northampton Town. Sadly the outcome might be very relevant to us.

The winner of the play off final from the final tier in professional football could be our league opponents next season. Utterly depressing. That is no disrespect to Exeter or Northampton. Just an awful indictment on our club.
DurhamRed 2,047
Jeez imagine if we go down we might even be too lowly club for Marcus Browne if he wins playoffs with Oxford

It was *** horrid but I think Burnley have made pretty strong statements against the actions of what's clearly a relatively small group of fans, apparently around 60 who crowdfunded it. They've said they'll ban those responsible in a statement on their website and I thought Ben Mee gave a very strong message from the position of the players in the immediate aftermath of the game.

Aye, they have - fair play to Ben Mee, James Tarkowski, and Sean Dyche for their responses. All were far from manufactured virtue signalling phrases too - each spoke genuinely from the heart and with such compassion and empathy. Was quite beautiful to see. Football and footballers get a bad press, but to a man I think we've seen a brilliant response from the game and the Black Lives Matter movement. It's been far more than just the old 'stick on a T-shirt' of old.

Uwe 3,545
First time I’ve seen football focus in a long long time. And was just wondering how long has Mark Lawrenson been in lockdown for. Looks like the bloke has aged 30years 😳

Uwe 3,545
Watching a rather dull Villa v Wolves play to a 0-0 for a hour. introduce Traore 4 mins later he takes on 3 players and sets up a goal. I miss him 🙁

Good to see that the BBC is reversing its problem with ageism.

I'm well and truly cheering on the Cobblers today! Real shame this is played out in front of no fans though. Last time the Cobblers got to the Wembley they took over 40,000 fans. Edit: I'm getting confused over attendances haha! In 2013 there were 47,000 at Wembley (in total). Estimated 25,000 cobblers fans.
