Duvel 2,446
Big blow for Bournemouth, its hard to see them finding another manager thats able to replicate what Howe did.

TeaCider24 12,401
Did a good job, but they've had an absolutely horrific defense in every PL season, once the goals started to dry up they were bound to go down.
Old Codger 3,039
Hmmmm......what currently unemployed manager that specialises in making teams hard to beat and lives in that area comes to mind as a possible replacement......would never happen though, some teams would rather play attractive football and get relegated than be boring and stay up....being serious for a moment, would have thought with their players and backing, it would be an ideal spot for Pearson if he felt inclined... Old Codger 3,039
Good luck to Harrogate....need some more northern clubs in the League....and with luck, they could even have a local derby with Sunderland in a couple of seasons
Old Codger 3,039
don't understand the fuss about that Italian lad winning the Golden Shoe...we have just got rid of an Immobile striker and nobody complained at all

Had the so called goal line technology and ref done their job properly in the Sheff Utd/Villa game then Bournemouth stay up, that's the way it goes, but it must leave a sour taste in the mouth, very poor at that standard absolute mockery of the system and no excuses, and an expensive mistake for Bournemouth.

Ayresome7 187
Never understand the fuss with Eddie Howe. Spent over 200 Million since he got Bournemouth promoted
