Barnsley are 1-0 down at half time with nothing to lose. Swansea can be susceptible when they aren't being awarded penalties in added time. I'd hope Barnsley come out and go for the Swans as they can definitely be rattled.

Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

Rumour is Lampard for the job after he leaves. Could be a good appointment but golly they have to do something about the state of that squad. Average age is nearly 30, they've barely changed in the time Hodgson has been there.

Got about 15 first team players out of contract in the summer to be fair, so can clear the decks massively if needs be. But whoever comes in has a job to do getting replacements in if they went that route, admittedly you'd probably want to keep a few of them on.

Lampard has been earmarked for the job since he got the chop at Chelsea. Howe still hasn't moved to Celtic, as was seeming very likely, he could be a good candidate too.

As much as they've had years in the Prem, it does very much feel like they've just existed there for years without doing much of note. Bringing in a manager like Lampard is a risk to take on that job of rebuilding them but so long as they're not fussed about relegation happening in the short term, it could pay off in the long term.

Definitely could go either way in terms of either pushing the club on or regressing. Think PL money (and keeping it) will be too much of a draw if things go south, so think they'd move quickly if it looked like relegation was on the cards.

So you would rather a club managed by a whiny German got in instead of a club managed by a whiny German..  probably just a personal thing but I have always had a soft spot for Scousers as they are the only other people in the country that know how to pronounce "werk" properly 🙂

Liverpool's owners were one of the architects and biggest supporters of the Super League.

Chelsea were reluctant participants.

Ideally both would lose out to West Ham, but they *** it up.
