Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

Possibly, but they'd need a buyer.

I suspect there will be at least one circling as we speak if not more.  Obviously it all depends on exactly what they would be buying in terms of debt and assets.  The club doesn't own the stadium or the training ground I believe?  I don't know if the companies that own them are ones that have been put into admin now, or if they have been kept apart from it.  Ultimately, the administrators are going to want to offload the business as soon as possible so I think it'll be done long before January.

Yeah admin gets an automatic deduction.  They can still face the other points deductions as well.

I don't see it as being brilliant though.  The people who lose out aren't the ones who screwed things up in the first place.  They never are.

Yep. Morris will slither off into the sunset unscathed no doubt.

Some of their fans have been incredibly naive/daft but a club going under is never a cause for celebration.

Certain relegation and a two year embargo will absolutely cripple that football club, a club whose fans season after season have absolutely packed their ground out in support it's a disgrace what Morris has done there.

I know some Derby fans will blame Gibson and there's been no love lost between the fanbases but what Morris has done to that club who were a stable top half Championship club 7 years ago is absolutely disgraceful the man should be banned from football.

Feel bad for Derby in a way and this might not be a popular opinion but its time like this I am so grateful for Steve Gibson.

Someone on radio said Mel Morris has ran Derby like a vanity project for himself in last few years. I am glad Gibson makes tough unpopular decisions, even if i have criticised him for it in past, as its clear the man truly gives a sh*t about our club.

Derby fans blaming Gibson,,,,,,,,Get a grip and smell the coffee. Your Mel Morris is the Be.. end that got you into this mess

Very few to be fair. The odd one whose narrative seems to be that if Gibbo had just turned a blind eye to the blatant rule breaking then none of this would have happened. So it’s his fault. Pretty much every comment on their forum tonight is blaming one person only - and it’s not Gibbo.
