Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

Try being Boro and Ireland the last 5 years 😭

The difference is England are supposed to be quite good and in with a shout of winning stuff... 😉

Or at least thats what the media and pundits keep telling us. The hype train gets rolling...and then goes off the rails. With Ireland I don't suppose it even leaves the station, does it?

yeah..  but you cheated by using proper singers 🙂

...and also by writing decent songs (for Eurovision anyway)...

I became an honorary Finn for Eurovision - they know how to do it properly!

They're sending The Rasmus this year! Remember their 2003 hit, In The Shadows?!

I've never known many songs like that, quite literally the only song I remember them ever singing but I still remember most the words. Even if a lot of them are oh-oh oh-oooooooohhhh!

Apocalyptica the following year as part of the "entertainment break" while the votes were being sorted was brilliant, the BBC didn't know what the *** to make of it 😂

I literally have no idea how Australia and Isreal qualify for Eurovision maybe with Russia not being involved we might see a entrant from Japan!

Australia is in just because they love Eurovisision and it was something to do.

Israel is in because they're part of the European Broadcasting Union, and that entitles them to entry, countries in North Africa could also submit entries if they wanted.

Morocco has entered before.

Ah ha well it is well known that broadcasting signals go very far so possibly one day day in the future we will have an entrant from Alpha Centuri! "We've come to sing to you earthlings"😁

Australia is associate members of EBU (but so is most of the world)

Their love for ABBA probably dident hurt either, Sweden plays a big role in the Eurovision.... so some kissing our asses goes a long way 😜

I can almost hear Graham Norton saying "And now it's time to put your hands and flippers together for Alpha Males, who've prepared a show for us that's quite literally out of this world".

I'm irritated that the England match is only on Sky this afternoon.

The Home Nations national team games should always be available on "free" TV, even if it is a friendly.

Likewise irritated with the Scotland and Northern Ireland games, at least Wales is being shown on S4C at the same time as on Sky.

Though I suspect that's possibly only because it's a competitive fixture.

But then the Nations League games are already Sky only.

I've got the album!

Although I thought this "deep cut" was actually the best track...very Iron Maiden-esque intro...

I always wondered the same thing - thanks for clearing that up.

Still - seeing entries from countries that aren't European is still weird!

Just another example of the greed culture in football. Money takes priority over fans... 😟
