Non-Boro Football

Imagine the scenes if Newcastle don't go up.

I think they've been very lucky this season. The past two years, they would have had more teams chasing them. I think the lack of competition has allowed them to take the foot off the pedal.

I'm happy for Brighton, but let's be honest here the quality has been ***-poor. Huddersfield for all their plaudits have never really threatened the automatic places.

They are now - 5 points behind with 2 games in hand!

They're not. They're 8 points behind with 2 games in hand. If you're referring to what Kelly Dalglish said on Sky Sports, she seemingly can't do maths.

1-0 to Huddersfield, if things stay the same they're 5 points behind with a game in hand.

Absolutely, I commented based on what she said without checking for myself. Less dangerous for Newcastle in that case. How disappointing.

Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

It would still take a monumentous collapse from Newcastle and unreal form from Huddersfield to deny geordies getting automatic.

Think they'll just stumble across the line unfortunately.

It'd take 1 game, Newcastle lose and Huddersfield win they swap positions. Providing Huddersfield win their game in hand.

Edit: due to their vastly different goal differences only a newcastle loss would be enough.

Harry Redknapp appointed as new Birmingham manager

Will Joe Jordan join him?

Thought that was a joke, but nope. Depends on length of contract but he does like to surround himself with the same people

clever piece of job acceptance from Redknapp ...in all probability they wont go down and he will be hailed as a saviour, similar to the  Allerdyce / Palace situation.  anyone notice a personality link.

longer term though  Brum will inevitably regret it.
