Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

Did Coleman ever say he was willing to stick around if they went down? I know he was at Fulham as a player in the third tier but I don't think he managed them down there. Think it would have been the lowest position team he'd have ever managed (if not the lowest rated given his spell at AEL in Greece). Unless it has otherwise been said, I can't imagine he's too bothered about being 'forced' out, if that is indeed the case.

Think it was a bad move for him to begin with in all honesty. After coming off the back of a well-reputed spell with Wales added to the downward spiral that a decent Championship manager like Simon Grayson could do nothing about, every part of it seemed wrong. I hope for his sake that he's still able to get himself a decent Championship job, I can see one of the PL relegated teams taking a chance on him.

Sunderland have sacked Chris Coleman

Unbelievable.

Wow - what a joke Sunderland have turned out to be - I really pity the fans

At least non of our fans are stupid enough to be baying for Pulis’ head after 4 months in charge.

I've not seen anyone baying for Colemans head...

Gandalf or Merlin were needed to keep Sunderland up not Coleman, don't understand why Coleman or anyone else would have wanted the job, didn't stand  a chance managing the worst Mackem team I can ever remember.

Big club in a bad situation so if he managed to turn it around it would look pretty good on his cv.  Unfortunately for him Sunderland didn't have Gareth Bale so it was a bit more difficult than he bargained for.

Great a third tv package... When will they work out bidding for a monopoly is not the same a competition for the fan - it just means fans have to buy 3 packages... They need to change the rule and have every prem game on 2 channels, or I-follow like services and pick and choose your own menu. Definitely won’t subscribe to help Leeds either.
