Game 3 of the day. Albanian Super League match played behind closed doors due to recent fan trouble. We were allowed in as invited guests. KF Tirana v KF Laci. Tirana won 2-1. The beer flowed but alas nothing more substantial than a pack of oregano crisps. May of also had a little snooze in the first half!!!

The snooze in the first half would be down to the oregano crisps trekkers. You should’ve just stuck with the beer 🍺

Braithwaite got dropped and Leganes continue to remain rooted to the bottom of La Liga on 2 points, 7 points from safety having played a game more.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

First game of the day. Slightly later start so beer did not flow until 11.30am.
Visiting Stadiumi Klubit Olimpik in Yrshek just outside Tirana which also doubles up as Juventus Academy in Albania for a 12noon kick off in u19 Superiore League - Partizani Tirana v Shkendija DR u19. Finished 2-1 to Shkendija with a red card apiece.

Game 2 today. Albanian second division (level 3) Internacional Tirana v FK Kamza at Peze Helmes I. 5-1 to Tirana

Brilliant 5 games of football this weekend in Albania.

Fun Fact:

Carlos De Pena is Dynamo Kyiv's second top scorer with 4 goals in 11 games this season 😛

He'd actually do a job in our team at the minute

Mikkel Beck in his current figure would do a job. Ricardinho and Branco would probably be star players too.

    • Very arguable, and I dare say it would be mainly boro fans that would have that view. I personally don’t rate Fry that much though.
    • i do find it amusing that less than 5 months ago that the general consensus on this board was not a penny less than £20m for Fry. I believe the bench mark we used was the fee Brighton paid for Bristol Citys Webster. However fast forward just 5 months and some of our fans are now happy to take half of that (some would probably take less than half). Dael Fry certainly has not set the standards he previously set but there are a number of factors contributing towards that. However, in the last few weeks his performances have improved and i for one hope he stays and continues to improve. And we then sell him for a fee we all felt his ability and performances merited.  I certainly would not be giving up on him. I talked in an earlier post about showing the younger members of our team some patience during they development. Fry falls in to that category. He is 22 and it is rare you see a complete defender, especially a centre half, at the age of 22.  Lets be patient with him whilst he plays his way out of this sticky patch and then sell him for a fee his ability merits eh.
    • Nixon is such a lazy chunt! As if he makes a fooking living out of that nonsense.    embressing Nixon. And he’s an ever bigger chunt in real life! Had several encounters..
