The Rooney love in on the Sky coverage of their match is cringeworthy, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was his testimonial.

Really hope he flops as I'm not a fan of Derby, but I expect he'll be very good.

I want a rooney disasterclass

An own goal and a red card would do nicely.

LOL he's captaining Derby already too, what the actual hell!

We made Mikel captain despite him being anonymous after the first 2 games.

I suppose you could argue that Rooney has been part of the squad for well over a month now, he just hasn't played.

Have to agree Dan. I honestly don’t know how they are getting away with it

Think Morris is incredibly well connected, which is why the rules bend for Derby.

Rooney is so off the pace it is hilarious. He’s touched the ball about twice

Derby are awful at the back. What is the keeper doing...

I love how he tries to appeal for offside, just in case.

Rooney has been awful.

Was stood about at the halfway line whilst the rest of the team attacked for Derby's 2nd goal.

Rooney has been good when he has the ball. He has made some great passes. He’s dreadful off it though. Hasn’t kept up with the pace of the game at all
