Luton 0-3 Reading

Just need a second Brentford goal and I can start to relax for the day.

How indicitive and sad at the same time that we are having to rely on other results and points deductions to hopefully remain in this division.

One thing for certain is if we do keep up we will not survive another season like this has been

Doesn't matter where you are in the table, unless you win every game you're going to have to rely on another team's results at some point.

Hopefully we finish 20th or higher so we don't have the shame of staying up via a technicality.

Stoke 3 up, just shows you what a good side we are :classic_laugh:

Championships bizarre this league one min a team can look horrendous and doomed, the next go and beat the league leaders.

One of the games between Stoke v Barnsley or Luton v Reading has a 2nd half comeback from 3 nil down written all over it.

If Preston score then you couldn't really for any better results today especially with Charlton drawing last night.

Hopefully we do our part tomorrow and get the 3pts

Very true. However, us doing our part seems to be most difficult part this season

Yes completely right. I really fear what Eze and bright-samuel will do to our full backs.

Think it would be karma if we stayed up via a technicality...... we did go down by one 97....

    • I totally agree with this it is not that Spence makes mistakes, but the fact that he keeps on making the same ones. Was he given the freedom to roam from side to side by the coaching staff or did he just decide that himself. If it was a tactical plan then other players were at fault because nobody coveted his position and a goal like the one Blackburn scored became inevitable
    • Lol, I'm making an assumption about what?  Armstrong isn't Howson's man, he just picks him up as he's running across and then he leaves him anyway.  Howson then was marking Rothwell but for some reason you are choosing to ignore the bit where Howson starts to pick him up as if it's meaningless.  Howson is closer to Rothwell at almost every part of that attack right until the end but it has nothing to do with him and despite him being in position to just clear the ball, him standing completely still is also unimportant? 🙂
    • Must of been ****, that's why he's been playing week in week out since I made those comments and also Warnock has come out and said he switched off and could be playing In league 2.....  Are you Spence agent by any chance?
    • Not disagreeing, but you are making an assumption in that photograph because like I say that is the 2nd phrase of the attack and it evolves into a goalscoring opportunity, and just further highlights to me the bad positioning of Howson and how he left the attacker after the 1st phase of the attack. If Armstrong had scored, then I would of been giving howson pelters, but he didn't score, Rothwell did and who's marker was that......... Sorry it's going to pain you to agree, so we will just say it was Chuba Akpom fault eh?
    • That's when Howson looks at Rothwell and leaves Armstrong.  You can see is looking at him.   That's a second or two later when Howson is quite clearly now marking Rothwell.  He thinks he is about to run in behind him so he completely changes direction and runs backwards first, but Rothwell stops.  The problem then is that Howson is doing nothing, because he isn't marking anyone but for some reason he also basically stops doing anything else.  He can clear the ball when it comes across but he stands still.  Blame Spence for switching off but then you have to blame Howson for the exact same thing.  He can clear the ball if he is just active basically but he isn't, he's stood watching instead.
