Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

Never understand the fuss with Eddie Howe. Spent over 200 Million since he got Bournemouth promoted

All apart of the fabricated narrative about pluck little Bournemouth.

Is this the second time he's walked out on them?

To be fair, regardless of the support he got financially, you have to say that Eddie howe achieved absolutely everything you could possibly have asked from him and more up until this season. He's done a remarkable job there.

Had the so called goal line technology and ref done their job properly in the Sheff Utd/Villa game then Bournemouth stay up, that's the way it goes, but it must leave a sour taste in the mouth, very poor at that standard absolute mockery of the system and no excuses, and an expensive mistake for Bournemouth.

Well they could just have done the job themselves in their 38 games. They weren’t good enough

What about where he started with Bournemouth and how far he's taken them, best footballing side in the Championship by far when they won it, granted relegated this season, but  5 years in the PL better than our one season debacle under Karanka. All down to opinion I'd have Howe here tomorrow, excellent young manager.

sometimes mistakes are made ....Sean Dyche keeps reminding people that he wuz robbed.....so do the Germany team from 1966...agree with BD if they were good enough they wouldn't be whinging about the referee....take responsibility and get on with life

If your fighting a relegation battle for most of the season then you obviously haven't been good enough, but your relegation rivals getting a helping hand by a decision Stevie Wonder could have made doesn't exactly help the cause.

Absolutely true but neither were Villa, they were both very poor teams but one was marginally worse than Bournemouth. The difference was a hairsbreadth and came down to an error that shouldn't have happened, made worse by the fact it was blatantly obvious on Video replays.

Indeed. If you'd told anyone 7-8 years ago that Bournemouth would be a Premier League club, they'd have thought you were mad.

Eddie Howe spent over 20 years there as player and manager and turned them from minnows into a high profile club.

But I guess the ride had to come to an end sometime. Dunno exactly what happened...maybe caught the PL disease of spending lots of money on crap players? Unbalanced the squad? Complacency crept in?

Regardless, its still a hell of an achievement in this era of megabucks spending.

Apparently the results of Wigans appeal should be announced around 4 o'clock today.

it will be a definite NO followed by Wigan taking it to the Courts

I just don't see how they can overturn it based on what they are actually appealing went wrong. The pandemic is nothing to do with what has happened, I can't see how they win the case.
