And as for when henderson, a more creative player should have came on because England needed two goals in 45 mins and England didnt look like being able to do that with the shape as it was. I thought we would lose tonight but was surprised that at the end of the game I was thinking the result to reflect the game I saw. But then again I suppose Belgium gave themselves the opportunity to shut up shop in the 2nd half and we didn't make the positive changes early enough for my liking. Link to post Share on other sites

Imagine the uproar if he let Belgium have a free reign and he lost by 6 or 7? The main gripe was we were struggling to create anything at all. So at halftime Southgate brought on Winks for Henderson. Winks doesn't exactly scream creative does he? Not at all? How could you think that? We had an abundance of attacking talent at that time. We also had a brilliant goalkeeper and a solid defence.
