Their is a fascinating article about the Boro in today’s Athletic... Nine championship games in 29 days.  Following a team in their maddest run ever.    Neil Warnock was on the pit

Centuries ago Villages had ducking stools whereby if the person drowned they were innocent and if they lived they were guilty and sentenced to death. Nowadays not much has changed sadly. Idiots postin

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I probably shouldn’t have made things public, but I was at as very low ebb. It’s been a difficult year, not made better by COVID. Lockdown bucket lists aren’t

Barnsley v Derby off due to waterlogged pitch. It seems a regular occurrence that a Derby away game gets called off recently.

That’s the televised game in Australia.....

Whenever I watch Liverpool, I'm always reminded how much I hate penalties.

Yet another dive from Salah to win a penalty, but the media continues to portray it as clever play.

Agree. Never a foul. Slight contact arm to arm and down he goes. It’s cheating 100%

It's not even the fact they're given that annoys me, I can understand refs falling for it in full speed during a game, it's the pundits gushing over how clever they are to go down.

I'll probably spend the rest of my life whinging about penalties though, hahah, I honestly wish they were scrapped

Yes again I agree. Pundits are as much to blame. They even criticise a player if he doesn’t go down from slight contact. That attitude is definitely a scourge on the game

Can you name them all?

Wow - a rare pic of Maiden during their Blaze Bayley period.

Stuart Pearce is the #3. Gazza the #8. Ian Wright the #9?

Recognise the face of the #4 in the front row, but for the life of me can't think of his name. Absolutely no clue about the #10.

Hints

The #10 played for Newcastle and his country.

The #4 is French and played for a London club... Not Westham.

You have 3 correct players (y)

Jannick Gers played for Hartlepool as a youngster.
