ScarBoro 1,064 1.4k
Coburn in wars again. Josh Coburn has gone into a protective boot and he’ll go straight for a X-ray scan to see if there’s any damage to his foot,” Harris said. “He was a huge loss for us in the second half. I thought he was outstanding in the first half. He’s been outstanding every time he’s gone on the pitch for us. “It shows the importance of him as a profile in our team of how the modern game is and how we want to play. Josh Coburn’s a key part of that.

And a voice made for the papers. Not sure he'll ever be a rival to Neville or Souness.
Old Codger 3,841 4.5k
Wonder what odds you would have got for Man City to be one point ahead of Forest a third of the way through the season. Makes a change from the usual boring procession 🙂

Different teams, different styles, so he might or might not ever fit in at Boro (at least as long as Carrick is here), but it certainly seems that he can cut it in the Championship and if we don’t want to keep him, there should be a good fee. Only worry is he does seem to get a lot of injuries.
Neverbefore 13,720 28.2k
Getting a little nervous that the west ham job is about to come up just as we are in a run of 5 wins from 6.

Surely they'll have higher targets. Leicester have battered them in the end.

Yeah maybe, but they're also the exact club that acts on a whim and will see the number of goals we've scored with their fans desperate fro attacking football after their last couple of managers... plus his history. It lines up a little too well for comfort.

I was watching the Ipswich v Palace game but the stats seem to show West Ham dominated despite the scoreline? Was it not like that?

Was it not like that? Probably in the first half, but I thought Leicester should have been out of sight in the second before they were. I guess battered might not be the right description, as West Ham did have plenty of chances.
TeaCider24 16,196 21.2k
Saying that, Leicester are now giving it their best shot at throwing away a 3-0 lead.

West Ham alternate between expansive and regressive managers like clockwork. It's who they replace Lopetegui's replacement with we'd need to worry about! The media have been suggesting that West Ham have been sounding out a few people already. I imagine managers get wind of it from other sources as well. Apparently the West Ham fans were chanting 'sacked in the morning' as well. If the fans have turned like that then it's likely to game over. Although the West Ham hierarchy have a tendency to ignore their fans so who knows.
