SouthernSmoggie 4,895 6.6k
Weird one. They're doing pretty well - only 3 points behind us if they win their game in hand. Just looking at their results and didn't realise they beat Burnley and Leeds back to back last month.
RiseAgainst 4,558 3.8k
That's quite unusual - sack the manager but leave him in post for another week. I'm struggling to think of any other scenarios where that's happened in recent years? "Mutual decision" my ***.
Borodane 7,375 27k
Just seen that the person who ran onto the field at Burnley on friday has been given a lifetime ban. Ahhh the stupidity from some people.
Neverbefore 13,720 28.2k
Know he's injured for a while anyway but I wonder how that'll affect Coburns loan. He seemed to really like him

"Mutual decision" my ***. mutural just means they agreed a mutural settlement package usually, and/or agreed not to say they had been sacked to be nice if that was actually the case lol I might be wrong but i think we gave Warnock one extra match so he beat his records etc before kicking him out

But he broke the record in the game before his final game and he then said he'd known for weeks that he was being sacked. The comments about him being locked out of the training ground and prevented from collecting his stuff would seem at odds with the idea of the club giving him extra games for sentimental value. I feel like it was probably more just waiting for the international break. Edited December 10, 2024 by TeaCider24
Erimus74 4,335 4.5k
Must be the first time a manager has been told it will be his final game when playing the Boro, fingers crossed we can end his career on a defeat, but as a former Millwall player he's done well there
Erimus74 4,335 4.5k
A mutual decision, maybe he's looking at it from being a Millwall fan (I think I read) a legend where he's he's done so well & doesn't want to spoil his love from the fans & to leave while its all good
