Hard to tell what actually happened with Warnock given he likes to embellish and exaggerate all the time.

But he broke the record in the game before his final game and he then said he'd known for weeks that he was being sacked.

The comments about him being locked out of the training ground and prevented from collecting his stuff would seem at odds with the idea of the club giving him extra games for sentimental value.

I feel like it was probably more just waiting for the international break.

he probs did know he was getting sacked for weeks, but I bet that was more his intuition and/or that someone friendly in the club (or even outside the club) had told him off the record they had spoke to other managers etc. He will of no doubt had numerous meetings along the way too with senior people at the club trying to help to turn things around.

it reads that way to me when you look up his last reports when he did leave. I think the amount of times he's changed clubs that he will probably be able to tell when its coming a mile off, I imagine its not hard. You will have the results and pressure from fans getting worse, then I bet you notice people behind the scenes start to avoid you or act differently, you probs hear rumours,  I imagine he can see a sacking coming a mile off.

his interview after his last game he said was told on the morning of the last game it would be his last in charge.

I think when he was turning up at the training ground Wilder was actually there at the same time, and that's why they wouldn't let him collect his stuff or come in etc. I'm sure I remember it being reported as such

It's probably the exact reason why he kicked up such a fuss and wanted to collect his stuff at that time also lol. I would love to be a fly on the wall to see what would of happened if they let him crash the party when they are signing Wilder up, while they are showing him around and getting his pictures holding up the shirt, and here comes warnock in front of some media possibly to have it out with Bauser, Scott, Gibson and Wilder in person while he is at peak bitterness :classic_laugh:

Certainly on the lower tiers on all sides of the ground they are ALL standing.

How do they get a safety certificate?

They don't worry about that sort of thing. As someone who was at Wembley in 1977, I can testify that very few stewards will discuss niceties with "enthusiastic" Glaswegians 🙂

Watched the 2nd half Rangers v Spurs game when a Rangers player went down clutching his face after a Spurs players pulled him down by his shoulder/neck. Replay showed the Spurs players hands were nowhere near the players face, similar to the Coventry player v Sheff Utd a few weeks back, out & out cheating

The powers to be are talking about penalising keepers regarding possession of the ball to long, surely for the good of the game, those cheats who feign face injury should be the ones the powers to be should be focusing on more
