A bit of solid common sense and stability as oppose to romantic unfulfillable notions, it will be interesting to see how he fares there.

Maybe we can get him in to help MC out. I do wonder how much impact it would have had if we'd have got the experienced head in that was rumoured a couple of years ago to help Carrick out.

no they probs brought him in to cover for rooney if they pushed the button anyways. if they never then surely they would of gave him more time for them to sort things.

Anyone watch the Old Firm Derby?

A very strange "performance" from Celtic to the point where it looked suspicious. Players just couldn't be bothered chasing balls that were passed to them, no fight or aggression to the point of looking disinterested. Considering the bragging rights in Glasgow and even allowing for their fairly unassailable lead in the Premiership I have never witnessed any Old Firm side with such a demeanour (I'm trying to choose my words carefully).

I was expecting a rip roaring, blood and thunder Derby and instead watched one side who were up for it and another who couldn't have looked more disinterested if they tried. That the game saw the record number of shots against any side in the history of the Scottish Premiership made for very uncomfortable viewing.

Celtic consider title already theirs, the only concern was getting through game and saving themselves for European stuff. They wanted the Cup but not a necessity, so might be a few more similar games in next few weeks though they are probably quaking in their boots about the prospect of facing Olusanya and Boyd-Munce at the weekend 🙂. To be fair to Rodgers, he won't be happy but if he gets to next stage of Champions League, then the fans will be dusting off the "Champions of Europe" stuff...  in their dreams.     

Just came across this:

I thought Selles would have been good appointment for them but this is very poor from him and the Club as well as the local Radio station. I'm wondering if it was orchestrated by the owners? I'd guess and hope the lad's agent is working overtime this month to get him out of there. Crazy Club.

He actually played okay at centre back tbh. He'll get plenty of games with the amount of injuries spurs have at the back and ange seems to like him.
