He fell out with Southgate's assistant, Steve Holland, in training and wasn't getting game time, so he withdrew mid-tournament and refused all further call ups. That is what was in the media alright 👍 It doesn’t say what the fallout was about. Was he being bullied? Did it get overly personal? I think he should be cut a bit of slack until the actual story gets out

Dangerous to assume based on part truths.

It was Phil Foden leaving the Euros last year because of his wife giving birth. Edited March 14 by TeaCider24

He's a lad who's never had any issues with any manager in football asides from the England set up at that time though, so there's no evidence that he's a serial trouble maker. Id say there's two sides to that story for sure.
smogsterking the Inspirati 3,122 8.4k
I'd be happy with a draw tonight. I think a Norwich win drags them right back into the playoff picture. I think Norwich are of those teams that could put a run together and have some very dangerous players in their squad. I'd be happy for them not to be part of the playoff picture run in. TeaCider24 17,175 22.4k
Dele Alli was given a straight red 10 minutes in to his Como debut, his first appearance in football in 2 years. Poor guy. He was genuinely an incredible player 9 years ago, and it's all gone so wrong for him. 1

Nothing about the trophy's prestige, it's just not going to help Middlesbrough in any way for Newcastle to do well in anything. That's as a football club, or for Teesside as an area. It would also take away literally the only thing that we have over them beyond being founded first, we've won a major trophy within the life of most Boro fans, most Newcastle fans have never seem them win anything. They're a bigger and far wealthier club, with a bigger and better history, bigger fanbase, from a bigger and richer area. That and they've got the most repulsive ownership in world football. I hope they never win anything again. 2 1
