I don't get the u turn though I think it might have more to do with the impending sale on Benteke. It's a massive step backwards for Villa and probably tipped him over the edge. Anyone knew that as soon as someone matched bentekes buyout clause he would be gone. And it's no surprise that the clause will be met.
