oneboro 221 1.3k
David Wheater, Adam Johnson and Andrew Taylor will be in the Boro squad to face Dumbarton on Wednesday night. Middlesbrough FC face Dumbarton on Wednesday night, 7:30pm kick off, before a two day training camp in Scotland. Mido will not travel with the squad after returning to training on Monday. Tuncay Sanli and Afonso Alves have picked up injuries and will stay at Rockliffe Park. Boro coach Steve Agnew said, "The players will probably be given that little bit more time on the field of play in the next two games than they were on Saturday." "Remember, these games are part of training, we're midway through week three of the players' programme. We based the first two weeks on fitness, having fit individuals, fit units and a fit squad." "We didn't go into depth tactically on how we wanted to play at Macclesfield, we just kept on to the players about how they needed to work on their fitness." "There were pleasing aspects - goals, a clean sheet and lively performances from Jonathan Franks and Marvin Emnes." "We're looking to step that up against Dumbarton and Carlisle and all the players in the squad will get minutes." The full squad is; Coyne, Jones; Grounds, Hines, Hoyte, Huth, Johnson J, McMahon, Taylor, Wheater, Williams; Arca, Bates, Digard, O'Neil, Johnson A, Walker, Yeates; Aliadiere, Emnes, Franks, Porritt;
