tylergomez 53
The near 120% wages to turnover ratio is the biggest thing that stands out to me. And explains the reasons why we are having to really tighten the purse strings and shift all of the high earners. And the fact that Gibson has leant the club interest free £70m tells me that we are bloody lucky to have him. And it makes it even more astounding that any fan would ever want to see the back of him. a rough calculation mcmanus 20k/week mcdonald 32k/week bailey 15k/week i may be a bit out but this is 3.5million /yr so if we lose those wages wages to income is down to 100% .......thats assuming income remains the same , but it shows why we want rid of these players I agree we need rid quickly. But even wages at 100% of turnover is terrifying! How the hell do you sustain a business if every penny you bring in goes on wages? Does that mean we are left with not a penny for transport? Maintenance? Training? Etc...
Air Resistance 26
Interesting... Just shows what we are up against, even getting rid of McDonald, McManus and bailey, the club would still be loosing money month on month. just shows how thankful we have to be for mr Gibson. How can people say he's not passionate etc... When he is plowing so much money into the club. I'll understand should we not invest in big money transfers this summer. Alves car salesman 152
If he hadn't appointed GS and GS2 and also if we had given a certain Ozzy a contract for two years we wouldn't be in the championship...

There is no leeway to bring in "the one or two players that will make the difference". Next season will be more of the same. Yes, costs are falling but the parachute money has run out, players sales are unlikely to bring in much (even if they are desirable at all) and there has been no marked upturn in gates, despite the club's well intentioned ticket initiatives. That is the only real vaiable. A lot now rests on season ticket renewals. It is what it is: a cash-strapped club.
VectorBoro 75
We are already ready planning for next year and some out of contract players we would like to sign. I got a sniff about one today.Young midfield player playing in the lower leagues who started off on the books at a Premiership side. Not saying anymore at the moment.

jamesp 125
Really do need to say THANK YOU GIBBO!!!! only person keeping the club going, cant believe anyone could ever suggest its time for him to walk away Not Alan Judge. One more clue please :P League 1 or
FoggansFlyingPig 24
Having seen Judge a couple of times live i have to say i am glad it is not him. He is not good enough for the championship. Luke Freeman would be my bet. But the best players in lower leagues i have seen this season have been Ash Taylor at Tranmere, Harry Maguire at Sheff Utd, Nahki Wells at Bradford, Harry Forster at Brentford, Dave Symington at Notts County, Scott Laird at Preston and Paddy Madden at Yoevil.
