Guest TheLeftFooter
Cheers DB23- I think an early visit to the pub may numb any subsequent pain! But here's hoping, eh? I actually worked at Nottingham University btw, so I know it well.
-Tim@london- 17
We NEED to get buttefield and kamara in there now, they are probably still unaffected by low morale, maybe drop muzzy for kamara or marvin Juke kamara Smallwood whitehead butterfield adomah Friend williams woodgate richardson Steele With butterfield more advanced than whitehead and smallwood giving friend plenty of cover to join in the attack 0-

kninemark2 11
I'd like to see us go back to basics for the next few games and concentrate on getting clean sheets and see out matches. I think a run of 3 or 4 nil nils would do us the world of good. We'd get the confidence that we can shut teams out and provide a foundation to build. The only way I can see this happening is to change formation and maybe go with 3 CB's. Ironically I think this could help us going forward as Muzzy and Adomah are perfect for counter attacking football and Juke better on the move.

LukeR 44
The boro team were in training today, which suggests to me that Mowbray's given them a bollocking. Hopefully this will give them a bit of desire to prove themselves on Tuesday
Aphex_Boro 1,444
Does anyone else think that Mowbray is getting too much stick? He can't force the players to play well, at the end of the day its up to them to do well on the pitch and at the minute they aren't. Mowbray can't stop players from making mistakes and can't make strikers take chances
richmfc 41
Weve got a really tough month. Ipswich away bogey team Forest away. Bogey team and top 6 Qpr away best squad in the league I think we need to get through these then we could have our loan signings and a much easier oct

To be fair I don't think signing a striker was much to do with Mogga, more to do with Gibson and Bausor. I'm not saying Mowbray is necessarily the right man for the job I just think some of the criticism is a bit unnecessary
kninemark2 11
Theres some truth in that I just don't think we'd have been as forgiving for Southgate, Strachen or Lawrence as we are for Mogga. We really need a result against forest, if we get hammered and go a goal down to Bournemouth then I think people's patience might run out (specially if Rantie scores). I don't think it would have been possible to have put a better team (on paper) out yesterday. I've just seen the goals, and all three looked completely avoidable. They were down to 3 very poor errors I can't see how the mistakes are Mowbray's fault
Aarfy_Aardvark 38
Forest don't really score that many goals against us. They just beat us by the odd-goal. (1998 Andy Dibble exception aside)
Neverbefore 10,935
I'm not sure there is much truth in it to be honest. Strachan had spent an awful lot of money and there were NO signs of improvement. Difference here is that there is undeniable improvement in both personnel and performances so far this season and a lot of people are confident that the results will follow. There is an ocean of difference between Strachan and Mowbray in terms of how they go about their business and I'd love to see an end to all these comparisons and constant references to "if it was strachan blah blah", because it's a null and void argument.
