jmsguzzi 40
I've had a look and came up with some Premier League forwards that will possibly improve our team and could be available to us on either a loan or a permanent deal: Vellios from Everton - Not proven and hardly set the world alight at Everton but could be a gamble that pays off such as Chris Wood. Guly from Southampton - Rate him very highly and i think he would be perfect in the role that Emnes plays now. Matty Fryatt from Hull - Not going to get a look in at Hull and he's a proving championship finisher. Park Chu-Young from ***nal - A long shot but he never ever gets a game at ***nal so maybe we could get him in on loan.

Neverbefore 10,678
If only football manager was real life... Vellios scored 30 goals for my Boro team on loan with no wages and no fee... Guly would be decent although like Emnes isn't prolific. His all round game is much better though. Park and Fryatt I would welcome!

Guest Dekker
The Gazette reminds us tonight that in 1998 we brought in three strikers in the transfer window and that took us to a cup final and eventual promotion. We can all see with the clean sheets, 6 in 8, that we need strikers now. If we have shipped out Williams and the Juke, surely we are pretty confident of at least two in. That's what Maddo hinted at yesterday. I really have no knowledge of who but let's hope hey! I'm betting on Becchio and Graham purely as they have been on the radar for so long, as was Butterfield and Adomah before them. Vossen is out of our league, so wouldn't hold your breath on that. Neverbefore 10,678
If I were to guess (based on nothing but how my mind works), I think we'll bring in one domestic no 9, and a foreign based number 10. Probably from Germany, Belgium or Holland.

Humpty 3,228
Whilst based on his contribution, Given would be a great to signing, trying to sign him on £30,000 (minimum) is not going to happen. We don't have those kind of wages to throw around and if we did it would be a waste given that we have Steele due to return soon.

Even if not as good as Given , which we all know he isn't , then Steele is a bloody good keeper. If we had £30k a week to lash out on wages then that should get a damn good striker in this league. In a perfect world we would have both , but it isn't and we won't! After watching the Wigan game (a long long way to come for a poor game) it is clear we need a goal scorer and someone who can put his foot on the ball. Here's hoping. OldManGravz 1,307
I'd still take Kakuta to be honest, I don't now what the rules are with loaning 3 players from one team but as a #10 I think he'd do a great job.

Have you ever seen him play? Just his loan at Vitesse was cut short. Seems like a player wasting his talent.
