Smogzilla 7,385
Tomlin is great for the system we play. As is Graham. Its been a good window for us. Sad we couldnt keep given for longer but it sounds like villa werent going to budge so hey-ho
holgater 6
Tomlin will be banned for the next 3 games, so won't play for us until Sheff Wed away at the earliest!
2plus2 290
I know AK likes to rotate based on form, and rightly so, but is our strongest team for the rest of the season now probably something like this...? ----------------- Given/Steele ----------------- -- Omeruo - Ayala - Woodgate* - Friend -- ------------ Leadbitter - Chalobah ----------- ----- Adomah ---- Tomlin ---- Carayol ----- ------------------- Graham -------------------- BENCH; Steele/Dimi, Gibson*/Hines, Varga, Whitehead, Ledesma, Butterfield, Kamara. "KM" 1,656
Does anyone reckon Tomlin was a prime target or was he a panic buy?

chimpy07 20
I would love to see AK's face when Tomlin rocks up at training monday, and he is like huh? Who is this guy.... Security Lol :D

Guest Tellerion
Not excited about Tomlin at all. Obvious back-up option in case the Dorrans deal fell through, which it did. Graham on the other hand, might be the difference between play-offs and not, really glad we got him in the end.
Brunners 7,952
Does anyone reckon Tomlin was a prime target or was he a panic buy? I think we chased him pretty hard in the summer.
Neverbefore 10,695
I don't think Tomlins got a 3 match ban, his red card was for denying a goal scoring opportunity, not serious foul play or anything.
ManBearPig 1,833
it doesnt matter about the red cards atm, it will give him time to get match fit before playing anyway. That seems to be happening with all of our new signings. They dont just walk into the team at any rate. Let them know the system and training methods then slot them in. Lovely jubbly ;)
Guest unclegrimley
Come on Lads, Lets all get down to Rockcliff on Monday. I'm Ian Tomlin. I'm Ian Tomlin, No I'm Ian Tomlin.... Put Karanka to the test.
Batmalan 50
whos ian tomlin? i thought we signed lee tomlin :(
2plus2 290
Tomlin will provide fight and an end product. That's two things right there that Emnes didn't have in spades. I still rate Emnes, but perhaps what we've been missing is a closer from that position. Think Kamara/Graham are two good options to choose from now too.
BorofaninCanada 12
If the Chelsea lads are youth loans then any chance we will see more ins during the emergency loan period or are we done? Happy with what we got. Hopefully a win this weekend and keep on rolling towards the top 6.
