teapot 4
For the one upfront we need someone who works hard and leads the line, if he scores goals that is a bonus - Connor Wickham had a successful loan spell with Wednesday so I wouldn't be upset if we borrowed him for a few months. For the number 10 - I have no idea, but Emnes isn't doing it for me, and Ledesma seems to be better played wide, so a loan from abroad maybe. Does Benito Carbone have a son we could borrow for a bit? p_mards 1,362
Le Fondre wasn't starting(and wanting to move) until sharp's loan ended and has been playing regularly since and hit two hat-tricks in consecutive home matches so he wont be going anywhere now. Where did he say he wanted to move? Open to leaving Reading would have been a more accurate description: http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/frustrated-le-fondre-open-reading-6460164

Powlay 35
http://www.teamtalk.com/championship/9100467/Reading-striker-Adam-Le-Fondre-ready-to-consider-options-but-Nigel-Adkins-keen-to-keep-him You might want to read that, he doesnt once says he wants to move. Asked if he would consider an offer from another club, he said yes. If he wanted to move he would have put it into writing and then lost out of his £500k signing bonus that was due to be paid out in this his 3rd season and then lost out on any % of a fee. Its something that often happens, player moans a little for not playing. In reality its not asking for a move.
Jonny Ingbar 288
It's interesting that Becchio (who hasn't scored goals in the PL) is considered by some people to be a better player than Shola Ameobi (who has). Go figure.

Oslo_Syd 320
The only potential recruit that has actually set my pulse racing was the mention of Raul - not as a player but as assistant coach. Can you imagine that? We'd have players queuing up to be signed - Champo team or not! Ho hum. Not excited by Vossen then Syd :P You are a ******* sometimes, Paph. :P I have a theory about our transfer policy In soccernomics they have a bit about how successful Lyons transfer policy is and how inefficient most clubs are when it comes to recruitment. What they do is sign and sell players based on a number of peoples input. Its based on 'wisdom of crowds' theory that a group of diverse people are more likely to come up with a correct decision or outcome than one specialist We signed adomah after a poll where he topped fans wishlist by a mile = successful signing The Gazette seem to be doing a lot of polls at the moment, who should we sign? who should we keep? etc Just a thought but i think it would work. I'm not saying base it soley on fans opinion but certainly take it into account. For every numpty who says shola ameobi you'd probably get four who'd say becchio for example Right. Messi. Vossen :D You are a very silly man and I will ignore you until you stop winding me up about Belgian footballers.

When I sent it my page hadn't reloaded and I didn't see the original reply, it doesn't say he wants to stay either, why answer questions like that in the transfer window if not to get new contract, attract a new club, etc etc Nothing else to add.
