Aphex_Boro 1,425
Boro V Leeds has been moved to 12:15 for broadcast on Sky. Seriously? This was the one game of the season I was going to get over for, no point if it's going to be on Sky.

Guest SmogOnTheTyne
I don't get why Sky can't map out their broadcasts the day the fixtures are released?
jmsguzzi 40
Ian Holloway : " I’m not one of these foreign fellas who gets a job because he’s known Jose Mourinho for 10 minutes. I’m not being funny, but that normally gets you a foot in the door, doesn’t it? " (Daily mirror)
p_mards 1,363
What an unnecessary dig on Karanka. He must be bitter that he wasn't seriously considered by Gibson for our job.

I’m not being funny, but that normally gets you a foot in the door, doesn’t it? " (Daily mirror) I used to really like Holloway for speaking his mind in interviews and telling it how it is but almost every single time I hear him interviewed now it makes me dislike him more and more, he has become a parody of himself and seems to just try and play up to the media now. I wonder if he had the same opinion of Steve Clarke getting the West Brom job the other year, or is it just because Karanka is not British and got a job that he quite fancied? That quote just stinks of sour grapes.

Maybe it was because Karanka was Palace's chosen replacement rather than Holloway not being considered for us Perhaps I didn't think about that, but he didn't get sacked by palace did he? I thought it was by mutual consent. Still a bit of a pathetic dig at someone who has coached for Spain's youth national teams and was mourinho's assistant for 3 years. Mutual consent can be 'you leave now or we sack you', judging by what IH has said, im going for that.
MMC 987
Fact is though that he got a job at millwall. I'd rather be an armless, legless, AIDs ridden hermit than millwall manager. Glad he's finally found a repugnant club which matches his repugnant personality. I've never liked holloway. He acts like a buffoon to try to get more attention in the media, the guy is a twofaced joke.
