That was me. I read a wrong report when news came out a week or so ago when the first 8 players were sent home. I think Lord Bendtners injury meant that he kept his spot in the squad. Having said that, as has been discussed, he probably won't be a Boro player next season anyway!
boro-unger 3,811
Btw Ramirez has missed out on going to Russia. Thought it was odd considering he has had a decent season in Italy. Maybe their manager realized he is a complete ***. His agent was probably trying to get him a transfer to a different country...

Denzel Zanzibar 6,931
Heard rumours that the new sponsor is TLCBet, not too happy with us being sponsored by a gambling company just like I wasn't in the 888.com days but I guess money talks :(

Same evil though We already are sponsored by TLCBet, just not on the shirts, so that wouldn't be a huge surprise.
wilsoncgp 9,230
Most clubs these days have official betting partners anyway don't they? Not saying it's fine because of that, just one of those potential evils that will always circle around football clubs.
boroinbishop 65
Betting and football go hand in hand so wouldn't surprise me if it was true, after all we play in the skyBET championship, bet365 advertise all over the games on TV etc. it's just part and parcel of football so doesn't bother me one bit, would be more likely to be against ramsdens as a sponsor (not that i am), their ethics aren't exactly golden.
