Gibson under scrutiny from the media. How refreshing

So many similarities to our recent  situations on this video. Goes to show nothing really has changed since then. God its frightening to see names like Strachan being linked even back then.

People also saying we needed a strong manager who would stand up to the board sounds familiar too.

A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

Interesting conversation I had tonight at football with someone who has contacts with someone at the club.

Apparently championship chairmans have been informed of a development regarding Sheff Wednesday over the past couple of days and there is going to be an announcement next week.

I am sure someone mentioned Warnock mentioned it today in some interview? So I would presume Gibson may have informed Warnock of the information of what the announcement is going to be.

Points deduction for Sheff wed and Wigan maybe a saving grace for us.

I have heard mixed things on Wednesday my mate who's a fan of them got told they were expecting a deduction then got told a couple of days later they expect to be cleared. They must be relieved they have us last game if they do get the deduction 😏.

Sheff Wed are 12 ahead of us and we still need to go there. Unless its a 20 point deduction I don't think it matters.

If it is 10/12pts then they would go below us, but like you said we still have to play them.

Like you say, it's about what we do on the pitch and I honestly can't see where our next win is going to come from.

Today was just a complete embarrassment and we looked a team shot of confidence and ideas.Yeah

You are correct about Warnock mentioning it in presser. Not Sheff Wed but he hears more clubs in trouble than just Wigan when he was asked if he factors in Wigans predicament in to his survival hopes.

Albeit as he righly said if we dont fix up then whether Wigan get points deducted is irrelevant as Barnsley and Luton will overtake us at this rate.

Let's just hope it's a severe punishment for Sheff wed... Again, I would have to question the EFL's timing as they have known about their financial predicament all season so why wait till now?

I looked at the table earlier and I was sure Wednesday were 12 ahead of us, obviously not. Still I think it will need to be a pretty big points deduction for us to catch them.

EFL are proving to be a joke. Which reminds me. Was Gibson not suing them?

Sheffield Wed point deduction will be for FFP breaches and not administration which is around 8pts? That would take them level with us and give them the motive to turn up on last day of season and smash us. Oh how Monk would love to send Gibson down.

The hearing was brought forward from July.

The points deduction will be between 12-21 points.

It’s much more complex than the other dodgy stadium deals.

What they’ve done is fraud, sold the stadium to a company that didn’t exist when it was signed off in the annual accounts. No money changed hands as well.

I have no idea how they’ve managed to do it.
