A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

I liked what Paddy Power did. They removed the sponsors logos from their teams shirts last season.

100% agree. The Huddersfield kit looked well smart with a sponsor logo

Jeez how long ago does the "Paddy power sash" scandal seem now.

I remember that. Didn’t they get fined for it to. Even tho it was a pre season game 🤷‍♂️

I think so because the sponsor was too large and it was an official (albeit preseason) game.

Fans allowed back in stadiums from October.

Interesting to see how this is going to work.

I'm kind of surprised season ticket sales are ongoing to be honest. There's surely no way we can uphold our stadium capacity and give people the seats they want whilst maintaining safe COVID practices.

I really want to renew, I want to be back at the Riverside regardless of which division we're in. But I don't think buying a season ticket is any guarantee of a seat right now. I also think the club ought to freeze the renewal prices for people who skip the next season, if we have to pay full whack next year because we didn't agree to go back during a pandemic, that would be ***.

The reason its so important we stay in the championship as I doubt League one will restart until fans are allowed back.

"Gibson is a hands-on owner and Bausor is a hands-on chief executive. They are closely involved in transfers and have been part of the decision-making process for many years. "

When you're *THIS* close to figuring out why we're in the financial and competitive abyss we find ourselves in...

Not that anyone needs reminding but thought would add on here the games that concern us over weekend, all taking place tomorrow:-

Charlton v Wigan 12.30pm

Stoke v Brentford 12.30pm

Hull v Luton 3pm

Boro v Cardiff 3pm

So we want a big Wigan win and/or a draw in the Luton-hull game right. Or we could just win ourselves.

We want a Wigan loss or a draw, that way they cannot catch us and we are safe.

Ideally a draw in the Hull v Luton game  which ensures safety in the unlikely event that Wigan's deduction is rescinded.

A heavy Wigan win wouldn't really help us if we'd have lost too, the goal differences would stay similar, they'd need to lose by 2 more goals than we did to have an inferior goal difference to us, and for it to come in to play at all Charlton would have to win their final game and we'd lose ours, which would then make any slim advantage we had obsolete.
