It depends what your definition of a big money is, obviously what was big in the 90s would barely raise an eyebrow now.

Could argue Traore, but that's based on 6 months and a big sale.

Paul Merson had a huge impact in his one season here, and was sold at a profit.

Randolph was a big fee for a goalkeeper and was the best in the Championship whilst he was with us, I think we arguably made a profit on him too.

Them 3 were all success @TeaCider24. Feel embarrassed i forgot them.

A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

Ravanelli was a succes. Bought as a striker and more than provided. The defence and manager was the problem. Viduka was a succes. De Roon was arguably a succes too.

Maccarone wasn't a success overall but for his contribution in the cup run id say he was worth every penny.

Huth was good when he was fit.

Bamford was good in spells when he wasnt being pulisified.

Ziege was about 5mil wasn't he? He was top class.

I still have fond memories of that day, despite the poor display by Boro and the crushing defeat.

13 hours driving in a day (7 hours there and 6 back) and my first time at Wembley. I'll never forget when i got up to my seat (right up in the gods. I was knackered) a couple of minutes before kickoff and turned round to a sea of 90000 people chanting and cheering. Amazing.
