oldman 155
We have already had 3 points deducted from us by the appointment of such an incompetent referee
TLF10 4,440
Just looking at Blackburn team v Brentford tonight and noticed Ayala still missing for them. I dont think he played for them since November? It was madness by Blackburn to give him a 3yr deal. Looking at all the players who left last summer. Dont think we have lived to regret selling or releasing a single one.
Brunners 7,952
Just watching the inside matchday for the Stoke game and the angle they have for the Powell tackle makes it look like a serious horror challenge, holy crap.

Yeah, judging from that video the referee's view of it was far better than I thought too. I'd given him the benefit of the doubt because I thought his view may have been obscured, but I'm shocked he didn't give a red.
TLF10 4,440
NW confirmed in his presser he loves young Josh Coburn and ideally wants to give him a game before end of season.

Do you ever see a post and think of that scene in Animal House where Belushi has the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other 🙂 .. thankfully I was able to resist the temptation to accidentally misunderstand what you meant .. sounds like he thinks there is something to work with.. we've had so many false dawns with strikers, it would be nice to see one come through and make a real name for himself

What kind of player is he? Can't remeber seeing his name before the teamsheet on saturday.

Striker. 6'4 and has displayed good hold up play for the youth teams. Scores a lot. 11 in 13 for the u18s this season. Only 3 appearances for the u23s though before getting named on the bench on Saturday. Really is a rapid rise.

Part of me is curious if NW is seeing if he's found his target man for cheap.

There's definitely some truth to that. He has the right style, just a massive unknown if he can do it at senior level.

Give him 30 minutes off the bench and see if he’s up to it, we’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain if he turns out to be the exact player that we need.

It sounds like he'll get some minutes so hopefully he can prove himself.
TeaCider24 12,401
I think he'll start getting game time if/when the play-offs are out the window. Could be after the international break, but hopefully we actually close the gap.

I would imagine it’s easier to make your debut in an empty stadium with less pressure, so it would be great if he got a run out soon.
DurhamRed 2,043
Well it'll certainly be a better experience than the lads who Woodgate threw on when 4 down away at a packed Elland Road
