A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

It is, but Alan Nixon seems to think it's included in the valuation unless he's just badly worded it.

Gotcha, haven't read anything of Nixon's so my bad. The man's so full of *** it dribbles out of his mouth and onto his keyboard.

According to the Derby Telegraph, the administrators are going to do nothing to settle any dispute between Derby and Boro/Wycombe.

They say the legal advise they have had is that Boro’s claim is baseless and as such they not going to sort it out.

They say the potential bill to B/W would be greater than the assists of the club after debts are fully taken into account so unless the EFL say B/W your action has to stop then Derby are gone.

This is pure blackmail pure and simple, the administrators took on a job and have found they cannot do it how they want because the actions of MM are so strong that 2 clubs wanted to take them to court but EFL wouldn’t let them but promised them they would do a full disciplinary on Derby and then B/W could go through EFL arbitration.

Wish I could put Alan Nixon on my ignore list, the contemptible charlatan that he is. People have been banned from oneBoro for talking far less s***e than he does.

I've permanently deleted my Twitter account, yet still Nixon bobs back up on here like the unflushable log he is.

Seriously, why is nobody challenging them on this?

Last week Rooney bragged he was blocking all sales of Derby players and on Thursday the EFL would rubber-stamp their coming out of administration by allowing the administrators to announce their preferred bidder.

Surfice to say reality bit and the EFL not only warned the administrators that they have till end of the month to prove Derby can finish the season, slapped a ban on new signings and the club released three players.

Thats when the fans went really nuts, but did they blame MM or the administrators no it Gibson and the EFL who won’t let them get away with cheating, financial tax bills etc

most fans are still under the impression that Boro have got the EFL to break the law by stopping Derby being sold. They haven’t grasp the fact that the club can be sold at any time any way any how. But if they want to stay in the league then they have to do it by guaranteeing certain debts. This significant point is missed so the massed ranks of Derby fans want to raise money to take this to court to get the EFL to let them announce a preferred bidder.

If only someone had bid, 2 months ago an American did but he got fed up and withdrew it after the administrators didn’t respond to requests he asked of them. Again a point blissfully ignored.

https://www.nottinghamforest.news/2022/01/19/report-nottingham-forest-set-to-add-andy-scott-to-recruitment-ranks/

"Nottingham Forest have added Andy Scott to their recruitment team, according to Football Insights on Twitter. The former Swansea staff member had been expected to link up with Chris Wilder at Middlesbrough.

Scott was backed for a switch to the Riverside Stadium last month. Football Insider ran an exclusive claiming that the former Swans man would be making the move north.

Forest look to have stolen a march though and handed Wilder a blow. It was thought, as per the report, that Scott had verbally agreed to go to Boro."

2 Scotts in one club wouldnt have worked anyway...

He's obviously followed Cooper to Forest, i'm sure there are lots of good other candidates out there.

I wish we would go someone from at the top end of Brentford's scouting department, get that Moneyball action going.
