A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

Maybe Mel could offer Steve Pride Park as full and final settlement?

Imagine DCFC surviving but SG being their Landlord, there would be a meltdown in the Peak District. Worse still if they do survive under that scenario and Ashley is the new owner they will be screaming conspiracy especially when Steve Gibson replaces the Steve Bloomer Statue with one of himself.

Could you imagine the above scenario, but with the Stadium renamed the Steve Gibson Stadium, with the moniker Pride of the East Midlands underneath. 😀

I have it on good authority that they have an 8m offer on the table for Jason Knight from our good friends at Leeds.

The DCFC administration people have turned it down. Apparently they need 7m to finish the season. They are either holding out for a bigger offer or will take it at the eleventh hour.

They won’t fold IMO

They shouldn't be allowed to turn it down.  They are in administration and this would pay for the end of the season.

The purchased the rights to use the plans but then made changes, some subtle some innovative, Im sure they have a heating system we were interested in before Morris took over, when Boro n Derby got on.

The problem is, that it’s starting to look like the administrators are not working to the premis of doing what’s best for the creditors, that’s their role. Their preferred bidder is according to Derby fans made up of current and ex directors, but they don’t have the biggest bid unofficially made. The Sports Direct Consortium have apparently indicated a higher price, but both groups dependent on Administrators getting almost all debts cancelled.

Absolutely spot on with this.

You get the feeling that Quantuma are Derby fans. Is it a local firm? Usually you see admins come in and immediately try to bring in funds like Wigan last summer.

Pretty sure Quantuma are the very same company who did the Wigan Administration.

This is one of his replies to the previous Gibson tweet

And this is from BoroMart on FMTTM:

"One of the theories on their message boards is the reason that the preferred bidder hasn't been named is because it's Mel using a different company, and using it to wipe out millions in debts and he has the EFL and Gibbo on strings again.

I don't no if this is just tin foil hat lunacy or actually just the sort of Machiavellian trick he would try....of course he'd get imprisoned for tax evasion you would think, so bring it on."

That would be a hilarious turn of events.
