I read the other posts before commenting. Makes no difference to me that George has learning difficulties, it's not Gibson he should be writing to. Whoever shared that post is a *** arsehole, same as whoever put it into that kid's head to write it in the first place. It's emotional blackmail and it's just spreading misinformation and hatred towards our club even further.

I'm with DZ on this. An adult has stood over this child's shoulder and told them exactly what to write, then made the conscious decision to post it on social media to try and emotionally blackmail Gibson. Would a disabled 11 year old truly understand the ins and outs of this situation and even know who Gibson is?

A great Athletic article on our youth recruitment in London (copied from the other site): Saturday afternoon in the north London postcode of N22: on White Hart Lane a steady stream of fans make t

The Times interview today with Chuba. I’ve missed all the pics out as I don’t know how to get the whole article across and it’s behind a firewall, but you get a good feeling of what he thinks.

Superb article from The Athletic published today... Gives you a real sense that something special is being built. We've been crying out for this for so long.   Michael Walker 2h ago  2

Simon Jordan "This article is compelling but sadly uninformed!  Ask Gibson what he wants, nowhere near £45 mi or the cost of Derby!  As about waghorn to #mfc highjacked, paid by #dcfc because they were cheating ffp.  Ask about dell, Mel Morris and stadium.. then you may have an informed article

The most interesting quote from SJ: "If claim has no merit and no chance of success, incoming purchasers will see it that way too. Incoming purchasers who btw have already told MFC they will deal with them financially outside of admin."

Derby fan presses SJ on the reasons for admins holding up...

"Who engaged the administrator! Who has PG's in place..."

I might be wrong, but I thought administrators were supposed to impartially apply legal strictures to a failing business, ensuring maximum return for any creditors? It sounds for all the world as if Quantuma are acting solely on behalf of Mel Morris, and everyone else be damned.

It really depends on the level if interest the child has in his football club.

My 10 year old daughter (who is not disabled granted) would be able to talk in great detail about subjects she is interested in..

Also we don't know what disabilities George has.

Surely Mel wouldn't break the law? I'm led to believe he's washed his hands of this entire situation and is sunning himself in Barbados. I'm certain none of his old friends and colleagues would be giving him the inside line and acting out his wishes - that would be immoral.

I think this is what Gibson's statement yesterday was hinting at. I think there is potentially more to come from this.

It is emotional blackmail and the situation has been clearly fabricated, if you look at the handwriting its obvious that Wayne Rooney wrote that letter.

I've heard he's really put a lot of effort in to get it to that level over the last few years

I've never wanted a club to be liquidated, not even Newcastle.

But Derby's bahaviour pre and post administration and the stupidity of many of their supporters  has changed that.

I hope they are ripped apart and relegated to non-league. they are a club of cheats and  Karens
